Since an early age, Elias Gutierrez was immersed in the design world without even knowing it. Spatial planning and colors were innate characteristics developed naturally. And looking back, Elias recalls multiple anecdotes that shone a glimmer of what he was to become. Such an anecdote occurred when Elias was twelve years old. Seeing his mother’s antique mother of pearl Asian console table everyday frustrated him. Something was clearly wrong. Elias without taking a second thought grabbed a saw from his father’s toolbox and began to shorten the table. What was once a decorative after thought console table relegated to a side wall, was transformed into a functional coffee table proudly displayed in the center of the living room to be appreciated daily. A shocked reaction from his mother quickly turned to a sigh of relief and admiration for the talent witnessed.

Through his early beginnings learning about notions and trimmings, the desire only intensified to apply his skills and aesthetic to Interior Design. Under the direction of iconic American interior designer Thomas Britt, Elias’ talent for Interior Design was honed. From New York to Los Angeles Elias directed several projects for high-profile clients across the country. He was subsequently recognized by several publications, including Architectural Digest and Avenue Magazine. 

Decades after transforming the Asian console table, Elias has flourished and established a name for himself. Elias has founded his own Interior Design firm providing Interior Design Services to an elite list of clients whom entrust Elias to transform what can simply be a home to a work of art – bold and tailored to them individually, - into a space they may call home
